THE SACRED PRACTICE OF THE DAILY DRAW
Developing a Sacred Practice of pulling a card a day––Tarot or Oracle––can be highly beneficial in developing a deeper connection to the Light Codes that you will be accessing. It isn’t about memorizing the meaning of the suits, court cards, and major arcana. And it definitely isn’t about reading cards the “right way.” It’s not about looking up the card meaning in a book (although you can do this).
* Note: The quality of Sacredness does not equate to the quantity of time. Sacredness is the devotion to the desired intention, that you create out of loving respect and honor for the God/dess within you. A Sacred Practice can be 5 minutes or 5 hours, time is irrelevant.
The purpose of experiencing this form of divination, in relation to Channeling, is to access your extra-sensory gifts (whether you believe you have them or not) by intuitively working with the energies embedded in the deck or decks of your choosing. Shifting your perspective to experience the cards as a living field of energy reframes the relationship between you and your Oracle deck. There is an opportunity for energy transference when you co-create with the deck instead of only trying to get information from it. Your deck is a Guide, willing to teach, often by unfolding the meanings of the cards you draw as messages woven into your day. If you are drawn to your deck and it feels good to you, it is a SAFE form of energy to channel.
Give yourself permission to move beyond the constructs of what you think the card is supposed to mean so that you can develop a deeper relationship with the variety of frequencies–– symbology, metaphor, color, texture, form, shape–– embedded in the deck or decks of your choosing.
